Class B at Mitchel Field, Hempstead: Bronxville vs. Cold Spring Habor

Final: Bronxville 4, Cold Spring Harbor

The Broncos advance to state final four and will play Saturday at 9 a.m. against an opponent TBD.

Brian Heyman reports that Bronxville leads 4-0 with 24 minutes remaining.

Brian Rogers has two goals and one assist and now has 40 goals for the season.

Class A at Arlington: Harrison vs. Owego

The Huskies advance to next week’s state final four in Oneonta

Update 1: Justin Jones reports Harrison leads 2-0 at halftime on goals by Ivan Cabrera and Andres Duarte.

Class C at Diamond in the Pines Complex in Brookhaven: North Salem vs. Southold

Final: North Salem 2, Southold 0

The Tigers advance to the state semifinals next weekend in Oneonta.

Update 2: North Salem leads 2-0 with seven minutes remaining. Matt Loeb scored the Tigers’ second goal of a pass from Brian Span.

Update 1: Jake just checked in and reports North Salem leads 1-0 at halftime. Greg Shea scored with five minutes left in the first half against the No. 1-ranked team in the state. The game is in rain delay because there was thunder.

CLASS C: NORTH SALEM VS. TUXEDO

Final: North Salem 1, Tuxedo 0

North Salem plays in the regional final against an opponent to be determined at Yorktown High School Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Update 3: Midway through the second half, the Tigers still lead 1-0.

Update 2: It’s 1-0 North Salem at halftime.

Update 1: Jeff, who has is at Yorktown’s Charlie Murphy Field, reports that North Salem has jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Alexia Shea off a 25-yard shot with 7:11 left in the first half.

BOYS:

CLASS B: BRONXVILLE VS. SPACKENKILL

Final: Bronxville 4, Spackenkill 0

Bronxville will take on Cold Spring Harbor of Section 8 in the regional final at Mitchell Field in Hempstead Saturday at 3 p.m.

Update 2: It’s 4-0 at halftime. Brian Rogers, Rodrigo Amboss and John Timoney all have one goal and one assist.

Update 1: Matt Ng, who is covering this one for us, reports that Bronxville has jumped out to a 4-0 lead with three minutes remaining in the first half.

CLASS C: NORTH SALEM VS. RHINEBECK

North Salem will play Section 11’s Southold on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Diamond in the Pines Complex in Brookhaven out on Long Island.

Span and Ballard each had two goals.

BEGINNING OF DAY REPORT

The North Salem and Bronxville boys teams hope to earn spots in this weekend’s regional finals.

Both teams will be in action at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome. Jake and Matt Ng will be reporting on the games for us, so check back for score updates.

North Salem’s girls team has a regional semifinal of its own — against Tuxedo.

Jeff will be on hand for that one.

Harrison’s boys team hopes to continue its inspired postseason run today. The Huskies are facing Section 9’s Goshen in the qualifying round of the state regionals at 3 p.m.
