Stop being so paranoid. I saw a great player play and I said so. I can’t imagine how that is “all the wrong reasons” or at the expense of anyone. I’d love to hear you’re crazy paranoid guess at why I’m doing it though.

I don’t know much about Bellizzi or about your insinuations about “kids who really work hard” and “really do deserve recognition”. I just know I saw this kid play and she impressed me.

I have nothing against Bellizzi who I have no doubt is a talented player. I do however have something against people coming on these forums pumping up players for all the wrong reasons (and yes I can guess why you are doing it) and at the expense of the kids who work really hard throughout the season and really do deserve the recognition.

Easy BCTS. She is only a sophmore. My guess is that you have something against her or resent her for some reason or something else that would lead you to say something that negative. She is a kid—you are an adult. I really don’t think its necessary to take a shots. I’m guessing you are trying to say that she can be inconsistent. I would say almost every sophmore playing on the varsity level everywhere is inconsistent. I don’t think that means her obvious talent can be denied. Bellizzi doesn’t need to be put down in order to praise Rimmer’s accomplishments.

I am a completely impartial observer. I will watch tomorrow’s game and I will give you my honest, impartial opinion once again following the game.

Rimmer is excellent too without a doubt. I saw them both this week. I was very impressed with Rimmer but Bellizzi stood out to me more (fast and quick, strong with the left and right, relentless, intelligent). Many of those same things could probably be said for Rimmer. The combination of the two should be more than a handful for Lourdes.

When was the last time you saw Rye play? Bellizzi hasn’t had the type of season she had last year and the star forward for Rye this season has without question been senior, Alex Rimmer.

Lourdes beat Rye in a tight matchup last year. Lourdes lost Sarah Porco – an All-State performer (Now at Iona..just looked up her stats….has scored 4 of Iona’s 13 goals this year). Rye’s all-state performer, Lia Bellizzi, is another year older and more experienced. I immediately thought of Proco when I saw Bellizzi play. I think that will be the difference but we’ll see tomorrow. It should be fun to watch. Good luck to both teams.

Rye played a wonderful game against our team today. They played great team defense and Alex Rimmer, as a senior, put the team on her back when she needed to. After the game, the Rye team was as classy as can be by cheering our team as we had our last talk on the field as an active team. I am forever grateful for the class that Rich Savage and his girls displayed this afternoon.

JJEF has been the class of AA all season. Not that Arlington has not earned the slot, but JJEF is the top dog.
