hey joe…it’s bad enough that the girls and boys have to share a soccer blog. do we also have to hear about FOOTBALL on this blog? we all know that football teams get preferential treatment over soccer teams at just about every high school in the county…not to mention that just about every football team violates title IX with their booster fund raising efforts. please keep the football crap away from this blog, ok? we don’t care about football…just futbal (or however it is spelled).
on vacation – I understand your point about football/futbal (very clever by the way), but remember, there are a lot of folks out there interested in a variety of sports — including yourself I believe. Aren’t you the same “on vacation” I’ve seen on the lacrosse blogs? In any case, we launched our live chats earlier this month, and if you haven’t checked it out, be sure to give it a try and let us know what you think.
joe, you caught me…i do visit a number of blogs. but anyone who doesn’t have a kid who plays football will tell you that they really don’t like football being thrown in their face all the time. it is bad enough that football greases the wheels at just about every college in the country. does it really have to be that way at the high school level? we all know that the REAL male athletes are playing soccer this time of year.
very well said and agreed with above me
