Greeley lost to Vestal 3-2. Vestal was ahead 2-0 at the half.
Greeley had played 30 minutes of overtime on Saturday night before defeating Scarsdale. They had to make a 3.5 hour trip to Oneonta to play Vestal which is only 30 minutes from Oneonta. Vestal had to beat a team with a .500 record they easily beat twice during the regular season to advance to the states.
Greeley was down 2-0 and scored with 10 minutes left in the game and then another goal with about 5 mins left to tie it up. Vestal scored on a great shot from the 18 with 30 seconds left to get the go ahead and game winning goal. A great season!

Just adding to CAGE’s comment about Byram. I’m from section 1 and that was my quote he put up in reference to Byram being ”@ssholes.” I should mention that that quote was mostly in reference to most of their players. However, the coach is a good guy.

For anyone to talk poorly about the Byram Hills team’s character obviously does not have a clue. This program is to the contrary all about class. They play the game the way it should be played and exemplify what sportsmanship is all about in High School sports. Coach Allen is a class act and why this program is in the postion they are year in and yeat out. Believe me, it’s not easy geting the most out of a group of white collared high school boy’s day in and day out. You have as many challenges there as you do in the inner city. It’s just a different type of needy. What Coach Allen has done to make them believe that WORK is a necessity to win is very impressive!!!!!!!!!! Coach Allen and his program is nothing but class and does not deserve to be mention in any other light.

Oh yes, clearly the Bryam Hills team are “nothing but classly”...that’s why you have #3 running around swearing at the other team’s fans after they won! And not to mention, that this is all after Bryam cried for days about about the Lakeland team being sad after a Section final lost. You guys kill me.
Byram was not crying after the Lakeland; first of all they won a hard fought game and second of all they expect other teams to be as classy as them and when those teams are not it is an insult
All of you continuing to bash Byram’s #3 all happen to leave out the fact that the Owego fans were trash talking him the entire game. In a game of such high importance, things can sometime get out of control and actions like #3’s are made. Don’t put all blame on him when the fans were acting just as classless.
