I just want to say how pathetic it is that the coaches cant even vote correctly. How is it possible that a kid from dover which was a 6-9 team got league mvp over Brian Span on North Salem. He was by far the best player on the best team in the league.

Hey Jason – where can we see league MVPs?

Hey Rod – did Brian Rogers really not make all section?!? That can’t be right.

  3. Jason

I just know trust me, and brian span is 10 times better than anyone in that league.

  4. crazy

wow i think that arturo barajas and marco noriega should have been also all section 1…................also how do we see league mvps

  5. crazy

wow i think that arturo barajas from new rochelle should have been also all section 1…................also how do we see league mvps

  6. crazy

artoro and marco are from new rochelle

  7. SoccerFan

How is Evan Fiddle from Greeley not all section??? That’s ridiculous

  8. Ronaldo

Rod…Was a coach of the year selected? My vote would go to Joe Cipriano of Scarsdale. The Raiders started out with a brutal schedule and were 1-5. He made some adjustments such as moving Duncanson to the back. At the end, Scarsdale was co-champion in Class AA and was one PK away from moving into the regionals.

  9. raging unpredictability

i agree with it being ludicrous that evan fiddle did not make all section. this system is really screwed up. how do they pick these things anyways?

  10. .

they pick these things by coaches nominating their players, if fiddle wasnt all section, it was becuase his own coach (the guy who sees him more than anyone else) didnt think he deserved it

  11. CHRIS

    WHAT ABOUT THE GIRLS?

  12. soccer

so the team coach nominates them then the rest of the coaches vote whether theyre all section or not?

  13. raging unpredictability

yea… bout how could fiddle’s coach have ignored these stats in practice?
43 goals, 18 assists in about 50 practices. not bad… not bad at all.

  14. Practice?

Practice? What was it that Allen Iverson said…Scoring 43 goals in practice doesnt translate to games. What were Fiddle’s games stats, why dont we just start counting JV stats? Nothing against Evan Fiddle, but seriously…

Jeff GoldJeff Gold reached the the soccer pinnacle when he was 7 years old. As the star of the Irvington Hurricanes, he led his team to a 13-0-2 record, scoring a goal in every game. Jeff didn't improve much and all of the others did. He only scored two goals as a varsity player, and one time, he was called Josh, so only one goal was official.
